I was wondering, for blueprints, how would those be utilized? I've heard people use them to make the prop, but I don't understand how. - Confucious T

Most often the blueprints are printed out at full scale, and then when you're making a weapon or whatever, you can lay down the parts over the drawings to make sure it's coming-out right as you go.

It's great for verifying the length of a gun barrel or something. Some folks make their weapons out of blocks of wood that match the sections of the blueprints, and use the blueprints to match-up each piece (from each view, when applicable). Deadguy71 00:58, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
